An accessory for active exercise of the muscles of mastication (chewing muscles).

The TheraBite ActiveBand is an elastic silicone band that is used together with the TheraBite Jaw Mobilizer to exercise and improve muscle strength and endurance in weakened chewing muscles.

A Load Scale is attached to the bottom of the Jaw Mobilizer, and then the band is looped around the handle. The level of resistance is determined on the position of the band on the Load Scale.

The active exercise can be used as a stand-alone treatment method, or as a complement to passive motion exercise.

The TheraBite ActiveBand is intended for single-patient use only.
